Intercultural Training for Au-Pairs (PART 2/3)
Travel is the art of meeting: meeting with yourself. In this second part we invite both those who are going and those who are staying to delve into their feelings during the exchange. What factors influence a quick and healthy adaptation? Hormonal, linguistic, physical, and behavioral issues are part of the complexity that lies ahead. Don’t embark without a good understanding of what is to come.

What sets this course apart is its focus on how you can effectively manage your professional and personal journey. Being an au pair is a serious commitment, and the training we offer goes beyond adaptation – it prepares you to be a responsible professional, ensuring that you can deal with daily challenges with confidence and resilience while learning the language and achieving your goals in this experience. One detail: our instructor, Andrea Sebben, also began her international journey as an au pair when she was 19 years old. This course will be filled with moving stories that will stimulate and encourage au pairs who are embarking or who are already there. Enjoy!

- IACCP Member (International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology) since 1998
- Tutor and Guest Speaker at MIT about Cultural Awareness since 2021
- Member of the Educational Advisory Council at AFS International that promotes the Training for Trainers in countries like Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and Costa Rica (2006-2012)
- Long and short term experiences abroad in Spain (Madrid), Italy (Rome) and Belgium (Louvain-la-Neuve) (1990-1996), United States (2008), France (2023) and Canada (2012, 2017, 2024, 2025)
