Erasmus Made Easy: A New Era for European Intercultural Students (PART 1/3)
In this 3-part course, within 10 modules you will discover powerful and practical tools to help you live the Erasmus Project with much more confidence and understanding. We know that, as an university student, this experience represents a great challenge, both academically and personally, and we are here to help you face all aspects of this journey in a more relaxed and enriching way.
You will learn how to manage your cultural adaptation, deal with differences in the academic and social environment, and make the most of the opportunities that arise when interacting with people from different cultures. After all, we all know that this is one of the best parts of the program: having fun while also expanding your social skills in a fantastic way. Leadership, entrepreneurship, overcoming obstacles, dealing with loneliness and the challenges of language and distance, in short - all in an academic environment that is focused on life and full of life! In addition, you will understand how to behave appropriately and how to maximize learning both inside and outside the classroom.
This training provides important insights into how this experience is transformative for your life, your identity and your future. We will talk about how to integrate into the university, how to deal with being away from your family and how to build relationships with colleagues and professors from different countries.
Each part of the training gives you a glimpse of important knowledge and understanding, but only the full experience unlocks the complete picture. To truly master cultural adaptation, watching all 3 parts is essential.
In this first part you’ll understand what is intercultural competence, how it can assist you during your stay abroad, what is the emotional state of someone moving abroad, and how this can affect the success or risk factors of the program. In this module, reflect on the foundational aspects of having a successful experience and be surprised by the importance of the relationships between those going, those staying, those receiving, and those sending in influencing the outcome of your stay.
Available in English audio with options for subtitles in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Korean.

What makes this course different?
The Erasmus program is a unique and transformative experience, but to fully experience it, it takes more than just traveling to another country. You need to prepare yourself to deal with cultural and academic challenges, and that is exactly what our training offers both for those who go and those who stay. After all, parents can be excellent instructors in the pre-departure stage as well and are more than welcome at this course.
With an innovative methodology based on Intercultural Sciences (Intercultural Psychology & Intercultural Education), we will provide you with the right strategies to ensure you make the most of your journey, whether it is social integration, relationships with international colleagues or adaptation to the local academic system.
This training is not about solving problems, but about preventing difficulties and helping you become more flexible, resilient and self-confident. It will allow you to take ownership of your international experience with a smarter, more prepared and relaxed approach, so that your stay is more than just a trip – it is a true milestone in your academic and personal development.
